Compagnie Fruitière has signed with Dole Food an agreement on the purchase of the bananas ripening and fruit distribution network Dole Spain, which operates in Spain and in Portugal.

This transaction allows Compagnie Fruitière, which already has similar networks in France and in the United Kingdom, to strengthen its commercial presence in Europe to offer an even better service to its customers.

The announcement of the sale agreement was made on September 20th, 2011.The acquisition should be realized by November 2011.
